I am a Software Engineer living in Ankara, Turkey who is passionate about keeping up-to-date with different technologies. Some of the technologies that I have worked on are as follows:
I've mainly developed myself on desktop (on Windows platform using Java, C#) and web applications (using Java with Spring Framework as backend and pure JavaScript as frontend). Also, I had developed some mobile applications for Android platform (using Java) in my undergraduate years. I had used Python (for mainly Deep Learning and Computer Vision/Image Processing projects) and I sometimes use other languages such as C, C++ for various tasks. Also, I often use bash/batch scripting on both GNU/Linux and Windows environments.
Currently, I am developing an e-finance web application (QNB eSolutions e-Ledger) using Java and Spring Framework at work. I have also worked on ASP.NET framework and the integration of database systems (Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL) with the various projects. I did some experiments on MongoDB too.
Furthermore, I have knowledge at creating websites using HTML5, PHP, CSS3 and making them responsive, mobile-friendly. I am actively using GNU/Linux (mostly Ubuntu & Fedora, sometimes CentOS) for my personal VPSs and have knowledge about shell/bash scripting to manage them.
Last but not least, I have used OpenCV and some Image Processing methodologies in my senior project, and I am currently interested in Image Processing/Deep Learning projects. My thesis was based on Zero-Shot Learning and Visual Place Recognition.
Programming and computers are the most persistent hobbies in my life. My primary objective is always learning.
